The Lighthouse uses the most positive and least intrusive behavior modification techniques to assist individuals with neurological disorders who are experiencing behavioral difficulties.

The neuropsychological assessment typically involves the administration of a number of standardized tests or procedures that seek to provide information relevant to the diagnosis and prognosis of a brain injury. It can also define areas of strengths and weaknesses, which can be helpful in designing a treatment program. Neuropsychological evaluations can provide a comprehensive baseline for pre-treatment and post-treatment comparisons, in order to measure improvement.

• Individual psychotherapy dealing with such issues as social-emotional adjustment, brain injury education, coping skills, and deficit awareness. Design and monitor individual behavior programs. Supportive counseling to families as well as consultation to staff is also made available.
